NEET Coaching Scholarships: Comparing ASAT, ANTHE, PWNSAT, MTSE and MVSAT

A comparison of five NEET coaching scholarship tests, covering eligibility, benefits, test patterns and which published 2026 windows are still open.

NEET Coaching Scholarships: Comparing ASAT, ANTHE, PWNSAT, MTSE and MVSAT

NEET (UG) is the medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency, and coaching for it is a major household expense for many families. Several large coaching institutes run their own scholarship tests that can reduce the fee, sometimes to zero for top performers. The published comparison from AcademyCheck looks at five such routes: ALLEN's ASAT, Aakash's ANTHE, Physics Wallah's PWNSAT, Motion's MTSE and Vedantu's MVSAT. This guide summarises what each route offers and flags the practical details that the headline percentages hide.

Check these five things before choosing a scholarship test

  • Class eligibility. The tests cover different class groups, so confirm that your current class is included.
  • Course matching. Some tests route Class 8 to 10 students to foundation courses, while Class 11 and 12 students compete for NEET batches. The scholarship applies to the course you are eligible for.
  • Test mode and date. Online and offline windows differ, and registration deadlines can fall several days before the exam.
  • Registration cost and attempt limits. Some tests are free; some allow a limited number of attempts in a year.
  • What the waiver covers. A tuition waiver may exclude material, test series or hostel charges. Ask for the fee breakdown.

ALLEN: ASAT

ALLEN's Scholarship Admission Test offers up to a 90% waiver on ALLEN fees, with an instant scholarship option according to the published comparison. It is open to students in Class 6 to 12 who want to join ALLEN courses for NEET, JEE, Olympiads or school exams. The test uses multiple-choice questions based on the current class syllabus, with subjects depending on the course applied for. A student can take the test a maximum of two times, and the published guide notes that ALLEN also offers direct admission to some courses without ASAT.

Aakash: ANTHE

The Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam advertises up to a 100% waiver on medical, engineering and foundation classroom and digital courses, plus cash awards for top rankers under stated terms. It is open to Class 5 to 12 students. The published 2026 schedule lists online tests from 3 to 11 October, offline tests on 4 and 11 October, and school-based offline dates on 5, 7 and 9 October. Registration reportedly closes seven days before an offline exam and three days before an online exam. As of 20 October 2026, those windows have closed, so a later cycle must be confirmed on the official page.

Physics Wallah: PWNSAT

PWNSAT is Physics Wallah's National Scholarship cum Admission Test. The published comparison says registration is free, the scholarship goes up to 100% on PW courses, and the test is open to Class 7 to 12 students and droppers preparing for NEET or JEE. For the NEET stream in Class 11 and 12, the published pattern is 60 questions in 60 minutes from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with four marks for a correct answer and no negative marking. The listed 2026 window was 1 to 15 October online, with offline exams on 3, 4, 10 and 11 October; those dates have passed, so check the next cycle.

Motion: MTSE

Motion's Talent Search Exam offers up to a 100% fee waiver according to the published comparison. Students who score above 40% move to a second round, where a personal interview decides the final scholarship. The test is open to Class 8 to 10 and to Class 11 and 12 Science students, is online for 60 minutes, and is based on the previous class syllabus. Classes 8 and 9 take it in English only, while Classes 10 to 12 can choose English or Hindi. The published dates are 18 and 25 October, with results expected in November, registration is free, and a student can take the test once in an academic year. The 25 October date may still be open when this was written, but confirm before registering.

Vedantu: MVSAT

Vedantu's Mega Vedantu Scholarship Admission Test is conducted offline and, according to the published comparison, the scholarship depends only on the test score, with no interview or negotiation. It offers up to a 100% waiver on Vedantu's NEET, JEE and foundation courses. It is open to Class 8 to 12 Science students and to droppers who have passed Class 12. Class 8 to 10 students compete for foundation courses, while Class 11 and 12 students compete for NEET and JEE courses. The test covers Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology plus aptitude. The published 2026 schedule says registration closed on 30 September, the exam was held from 2 to 4 October and on 10 and 11 October, and results are tentatively due on 25 October.

What the percentages do not tell you

Every one of these schemes has conditions. A 100% headline may apply only to the top merit band, may cover tuition only, or may be tied to a particular course and admission cycle. Some scholarships depend on a test score alone, while others use an interview round. Before paying any registration or admission fee, ask for the final percentage in writing, the fee breakdown, the batch and centre covered, and the refund policy. A scholarship that saves ₹20,000 on a course that does not suit the student is not a saving.

How to prepare for a NEET scholarship test

  • Revise the school syllabus. Most of these tests are based on the current or previous class syllabus rather than advanced NEET-only content.
  • Practise under time pressure. A 60-question, 60-minute paper leaves about a minute per question; timed practice matters.
  • Check the marking scheme first. Some tests have no negative marking, while others deduct marks. Your attempt strategy should follow the actual rules.
  • Use the test as a diagnostic. A full-length mock reveals weak chapters even if the scholarship is modest.
  • Mind the attempt limits. If a test can be taken only once or twice a year, treat the first attempt seriously.

Verify current dates and benefits

The 2026 calendar is already partly over, so the dates above are useful mainly to understand each test's timing pattern. Check the institute's official page for the next window, the current registration fee and the scholarship terms. For the exam itself, use the National Testing Agency website, which publishes NEET (UG) notifications and links to the official NEET portal.

Key takeaways

  • Five major institutes offer NEET coaching scholarships through their own tests, with published ceilings from 90% to 100%.
  • Eligibility, course matching and attempt limits differ, so read the rules before registering.
  • Several published 2026 windows have already closed; confirm the next cycle on official pages.
  • Compare the net fee after the waiver, not the headline percentage.
  • Use the test as timed practice, and keep the registration and result documents.
