The AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme supports meritorious girl students pursuing AICTE-approved technical degree and diploma programmes. For academic year 2026-27, fresh and eligible renewal applications are submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal. Student applications are open from 1 June 2026 through 31 October 2026; institute verification runs through 15 November 2026 and nodal-officer verification through 30 November 2026.
AICTE Pragati is a merit-based scholarship scheme for girl students in AICTE-approved technical education. The scholarship is administered through the National Scholarship Portal and disbursed by Direct Benefit Transfer after the required verification process.

Read the current AICTE and National Scholarship Portal scheme specification for the technical degree or diploma stream and confirm that your institution, course, year of admission and income meet the rules.
Register on NSP
Open the National Scholarship Portal student service at https://scholarships.gov.in/Students and complete the required registration and application fields.
Submit documents
Upload or provide the documents requested by the current NSP workflow, which may include income, identity, academic, institution and bank details.
Complete verification
After submission, follow up with your institute for institute-level verification and with the relevant nodal authorities for subsequent verification before the stated deadlines.
Eligible girl students pursuing technical degree or diploma courses in AICTE-approved institutions may apply, subject to the current NSP scheme specification.
The current eligibility information states that total family income from all sources should not exceed ₹8 lakh per annum, supported by a valid income certificate.
Applications are submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal at https://scholarships.gov.in/Students.
The NSP listing and AICTE 2026-27 notice show 31 October 2026 as the student application deadline.
The application must pass institute-level and nodal-officer verification. The published 2026-27 timeline shows 15 November 2026 for institute verification and 30 November 2026 for DNO/SNO/MNO verification.
